Weddings bring all of those elements together. The people, the setting, the design, the feeling in the air when everyone you love is gathered in one place. My approach blends observation with strong composition, creating images that feel true to the experience while still feeling polished and composed. I photograph a limited number of weddings each year so that every couple receives the time, preparation, and care their celebration deserves.
I am based in Maine, though my work regularly takes me far beyond it. Photography began as a curiosity about light, composition, and the way people move through the spaces around them. Over time it became a craft that continues to shape how I see the world — noticing the details others might overlook, the atmosphere of a place, and the quiet moments that hold meaning.
I keep life balanced and simple. You’ll often find me traveling, walking along the coast with my sheepdog, or taking long drives to take in the scenery of Maine, where life moves a little slower. I’m drawn to places that feel thoughtfully designed, like historic hotels, quiet cafés, and restaurants where the lighting is just right.
Evenings are usually spent cooking, sharing a bottle of wine with close friends, or planning the next trip somewhere new. I love discovering new cities, but I’m equally happy returning home to the rhythm of the coast and the familiarity of everyday life here.
